Purpose:
For protection and decoration of surfaces with high operational load, both exterior and interior, and as a finishing layer in thermal insulation systems using polystyrene boards. Creates a characteristic grooved surface, producing the “Bark beetle” effect.

Usage Instructions

Surface Preparation:

• Surface must be clean, dry, solid, and degreased.

• Surfaces previously coated with chalk, glue, lime, or silicate paints must be cleaned to completely remove old coatings.

• Fresh cement plasters should be treated no earlier than 28 days after application.

• If mold or fungi are present, remove them using TRIORA BIO-protective agent.

• The surface must not have depressions or pits greater than 2 mm.

• For loose or highly absorbent surfaces (aerated concrete, gypsum), use TRIORA Deep Penetration Strengthening Primer.

Recommended:
Apply TRIORA Adhesion Quartz Primer tinted to match the plaster. It evens out the base color and improves adhesion to the plaster.

Application:

• Stir thoroughly before use.

• Apply undiluted or, if necessary, dilute with water up to 1% to achieve working consistency.

• Using a stainless steel trowel, apply plaster on the prepared surface from bottom to top according to the grain size. Once the plaster stops sticking to the tool, the “Bark beetle” texture can be formed.

• Finish the surface with a plastic trowel in the chosen direction parallel to the surface.

Important: Protect freshly applied plaster from precipitation and drafts for 24 hours.

Precautions, Storage, and Disposal:

• Keep out of reach of children.

• In case of contact with eyes, rinse immediately with clean water.

• Protect from frost.

• Store in a dry, cool place at temperatures between +5 °C and +35 °C, protected from direct sunlight.

• Dispose of leftover product in organized household waste collection points.
